Job Description

Recognized as an expert in the storage technology area, you'll be changing the ways in which companies work, not just selling a product. Engaged in uncovering, developing and closing storage opportunities thru our reseller base in enterprise accounts, you'll define and implement sales strategies and plans that will outperform quota and deliver net profit and increased market share. Integrated with a comprehensive account team and liaising with marketing, manufacturing specialists, you will ensure that we deliver the most coherent, best in class solutions our customers could wish for.

  •     Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree or relevant experience
  •     Proven track record of three or more years selling technology solutions
  •     Sound knowledge of IT solution sales in channel and major account environment
  •     A self-motivated, go-and-get it approach and the will to win
  •     Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills
  •     An organized, team approach that allows you to work both as a team member and as an independent storage account manager when appropriate
  •     Excellent communication skills.
  •     Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  •     Channel lead indirect sales
  •     Enterprise storage sales
  •     End-user customer sales to major accounts
  •     Working as part of a larger account team
  •     Technical knowledge of enterprise storage that allows you to position, sell and
    compete in a highly competitive market place is a plus
  •     Strategic sales account experience within the major account markets
  •     Working with external partners to deliver solution sales - resellers, alliance partners and integrators
  •     Coordination and/or team leadership with other sales professionals
  •     Account plan development with ability to be part of the larger account plan
  •     Skills Include:
  •     Detailed knowledge of industry business drivers as they relate to your product set
  •     Account plans and long term sales funnel development
  •     Selling of complex products that cross all OS environments
  •     Solution selling
  •     Business value selling skills
